Chapter 1: Hidden Memories in a Drawer Severus Snape was pacing through the headmaster office as he usually did with intense worry and frustration. His long greasy black hair was unusually unkempt, his long black robes billowing every which way as he paced, and his dark black eyes were unfocused on anything.  Being headmaster was a much harder job than he expected, especially with the task of protecting Hogwarts from cruel death eaters while at the same time pretending to be one himself.  "Why am I doing this?"
